An interview with Series 8 expert, Paul Compton
(and Scrapheap/Scrapheap
Challenge/Operation Junkyard)
The first, and most comprehensive, fan site...Equal
parts gameshow, Mad Max and science lesson, it's a race to see which team
will build the best machine in the allotted time of just ten hours.
I get a lot of questions regarding production of
the US series. I must report that there are currently no plans to film
new episodes in America, nor are there plans to air episodes in America.
While I enjoy your emails...please don't email me asking where the show
is or when it's coming back.
Thanks to Jeff DelPapa's NERDS
website for info, the folks at alt.tv.junkyard-wars
for inspiration, Jason Slagle for the mirror site, Iain Weaver for providing
UK Series 7 summaries, the people at Channel 4 for doing the show and to
TLC for bringing it to the US. *I have NO association
with the program. Don't email me asking to be on the show or complain about
the show or with show ideas. I'm not the guy. Go to the Channel 4 website.
